Chaosanct es una banda formada a principios de 2006 por el guitarrista James McIlroy (ex-Cradle of Filth), baterista Matt C (ex-Biomechanical), el guitarrista Paul Scanlan (ex-Akercocke), el bajista Tilman Wolff-Moore y el vocalista Dave Kuchta. La idea de la banda esta enfocada a unir distintos estilos extremos.
a finales de 2007 o principios de 2008 con la llegada de Dave, Tilman y Matt, y que culminó con la grabación de la 4 pistas "que de Goliat" EP .. .. Poco después de una serie de conciertos en vivo y el lanzamiento del EP, el ex guitarrista Andrew Ongley dejó la banda y fue reemplazado por los talentos excepcionales de la corriente maldición Skaldic y el ex guitarrista Paul Scanlan Akercocke. .. Con su primer EP bajo el brazo, y otro caliente siguiente en que los talones, junto con las próximas actuaciones en directo Chaosanct están a punto de comerse el mundo con su propia marca de agresión melódica ennegrecido.
Chaosanct.. is the new band featuring the guitarist James McIlroy (ex-Cradle of Filth), drummer Matt C (ex-Biomechanical), guitarist paul Scanlan (ex-Akercocke) and bassist Tilman Wolff-Moore, all fused together with the vocal talents of Dave Kuchta. Combining elements from the extreme metal spectrum with melody and layered, wide ranging vocals, the band forges together a wide array of influences, creating it's own niche... ..Formed in early 2006 in the aftermath of his departure from Cradle, James came up with the idea of putting together a band combining both experience and young blood with a view to writing music that would be the sum of individuals influences, rather than writing to a fixed genre or template. From this point the band spent it's time writing material and finding the right member chemistry, with the band going through several line ups before settling, in late 2007 / early 2008 with the arrival of Dave, Tilman and Matt, and culminating in the recording the 4 track "I of Goliath" EP.. .. Shortly after a string of live gigs and the release of the EP, former guitarist Andrew Ongley left the band and was replaced with the exceptional talents of current Skaldic Curse and former Akercocke guitarist Paul Scanlan. ..With their first EP under their belt, and another following hot on it's heels together with forthcoming live performances Chaosanct are poised to take on the world with their own brand of melodic blackened aggression.
